Cover processing fees
Attendees can check an optional box to cover processing costs. 100% of that amount goes directly to your nonprofit, not to us.

Case Study
Foreknown Ministries
Before returning to 4aGoodCause, Foreknown Ministries’ two-person team struggled with clunky, disconnected tools for event ticketing and peer-to-peer fundraising. Their Wave of Light remembrance event needed a personalized experience for each grieving family, but their previous platform couldn’t provide the customization they needed.
After 4aGoodCause
- Wave of Light Events: 3
- Peer-to-Peer Fundraisers: 25
- Total Raised: $117,998
Our goal at Wave of Light is to get it all planned, get all the pieces in order, give our volunteers their marching orders, and then for the two of us to be at that front door greeting every single person that comes in because that’s what they need, is to feel seen and to feel known. … We both feel like 4aGoodCause allows us to do that.

Event ticketing FAQs
Can I sell different ticket types at different prices on the same page?
Yes, you can offer as many ticket tiers as you need on a single page: General admission, VIP, early bird, table purchases, sponsorship packages—all with their own pricing, descriptions, and availability.
You can also set inventory limits on any ticket type so items automatically close when they’re sold out. Buyers select what they want in one checkout, with no need for separate pages or forms for each type.
Can attendees make a donation when they register for an event?
Yes, and this is one of the most powerful features of our event pages. A donation prompt is built right into the checkout flow, so attendees can add a gift on top of their ticket purchase without leaving the page or filling out a separate form.
Your highest-intent supporters (people already saying yes to your event) get an easy way to give more in the same transaction.
Do registrants receive a confirmation email and receipt?
Yes. Every registrant receives an automatic confirmation email and receipt the moment they complete their order.
For orders that include a donation, the receipt covers both the ticket purchase and the gift, which is important for donors who need documentation for tax purposes. If anyone ever needs their receipt re-sent, you can do that with one click from your dashboard.
Can I set a deadline or automatically close ticket sales?
Yes. You can set a registration deadline so ticket sales close automatically at a specific date and time—no need to manually take the page down. Sales also close automatically when an item hits its inventory limit, so you never have to worry about overselling a ticket tier or sponsorship package.
Can I offer discount codes or promo pricing for my event?
Yes. You can create discount or promo codes to offer reduced pricing for specific audiences: board members, volunteers, early supporters, or any group you choose. Codes can be shared privately so only the intended recipients can use them, keeping your public pricing intact.
How does 4aGoodCause compare to Eventbrite for nonprofit event ticketing?
Eventbrite is a strong general-purpose ticketing platform, and plenty of nonprofit organizations use it well, especially for straightforward, public-facing ticketed events. The difference comes down to what happens after someone buys a ticket.
Eventbrite is built to sell tickets; 4aGoodCause is built to turn ticket buyers into committed donors. That means a donation prompt inside checkout, a built-in donor CRM so attendee records live alongside your donor data, and a monthly giving toolkit ready when you want to invite attendees to become recurring supporters.
If your event is a one-off with no fundraising goal attached, a general ticketing tool may be all you need. If your gala or walk-a-thon is part of a broader fundraising strategy, it helps to have your ticket sales and donor management in the same place.
What does it cost to sell tickets online through 4aGoodCause?
You pay one flat monthly subscription—no platform fees, no per-ticket service fee, and no percentage skimmed off your event revenue. The only additional cost is standard payment processing fees from your processor.
You can bring your own gateway (we support Stripe and Authorize.net), or process payments directly through us if you don’t have one yet. Attendees can also opt to cover transaction fees at checkout, and 100% of that amount goes to your nonprofit—not to us.
Can I use event pages for hybrid or virtual events?
Yes. Because your event page is a landing page and a ticketing form combined, it works just as well for hybrid events where some guests attend in person and others join online. Create separate ticket types for in-person and virtual attendance, add custom questions to capture what each group needs, and share your stream link in the confirmation email. Text-to-donate works for both audiences too — the people watching from home can give from their phones during your live appeal just like the people in the room.
