4aGoodCause offers three plans — Grassroots, Growth, and Scale — each available on monthly or annual billing.

Grassroots: $129/month on monthly billing, or $99/month ($1,188/year) on annual billing. You save $360/year by paying annually.

Growth: $289/month on monthly billing, or $249/month ($2,988/year) on annual billing. You save $480/year by paying annually.

Scale: $499/month on monthly billing, or $429/month ($5,148/year) on annual billing. You save $840/year by paying annually.

All plans include a first month free. Annual billing is paid upfront for the full year.

When you choose annual billing you save compared to paying month to month, a total of $360/year on Grassroots, $480/year on Growth, or $840/year on Scale. You pay once for the full year upfront and your plan renews at the same rate the following year. If you prefer to pay monthly and keep flexibility, that option is always available.

Yes, always. You can connect Stripe or Authorize.net to any plan. We also offer 4aGC Payments if you don’t have an existing processor relationship, and using it comes with an extra incentive: Start with 4aGC Payments and you earn an extra free month of the software.

A campaign build is where we design and build your donation page for you (including professional copy, images, and layout) inside 4aGoodCause.

We try to migrate them for you. And once you’re on 4aGoodCause, your recurring donors are fully portable forever. If you ever switch platforms again, you take every recurring donor with you. No one gets left behind, no gifts lost in transition. Your donor relationships belong to you, not to us.

No. Never. We charge a flat subscription fee — you always know exactly what you pay. Each plan has a processing threshold, and if you raise above it we’ll reach out to upgrade you at your next renewal. No donations get turned off, no percentage skimmed, no surprise charges. Your payment processor charges transaction fees (typically 2.2–2.9% + per-transaction fees), but that’s separate from our platform cost and goes to the processor, not to us.

Yes. You can upgrade at any time and we’ll prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal date. If you’re on an annual plan and want to upgrade mid-year, just reach out and we’ll sort it out. We’ll always make sure the change feels fair and predictable.

On Grassroots, support is reactive: You reach out when you need help and we respond quickly. On Growth, support becomes proactive; we schedule quarterly strategy calls where we review your results and plan ahead with you. On Scale, you get a dedicated point of contact who reaches out monthly and knows your organization deeply. And in all cases, no matter your tier, we pick up the phone.

No setup fee. Your first month is always free, we build your first campaign page as part of onboarding, and on Growth and Scale plans we migrate your donor data at no extra charge. Data migration from another platform is also available on request for Grassroots clients—just ask.

Your processing total is the combined value of online donations and online orders processed through 4aGoodCause. Manually entered or offline transactions (like checks, cash, or donations you record by hand), do not count toward your limit. Only what actually flows through the platform online counts.

Nothing stops. Your donation pages keep working and every gift still goes through. We monitor processing totals and if you go over your plan limit, we’ll reach out personally to talk through upgrading. The upgrade takes effect at your next renewal, not immediately. We’d rather have a conversation than flip a switch… and your fundraising momentum matters too much to interrupt.

Yes. You can enable an optional checkbox that invites donors to cover transaction expenses. If they do, that extra contribution goes entirely to your nonprofit, not to us. 4aGoodCause doesn’t charge transaction fees on top of your subscription. What your donors give is what your organization receives.

Our plans are priced to match the scale of your fundraising program—not to penalize you for growing. A nonprofit raising $30,000 a year has different needs than one processing $200,000, and it wouldn’t be fair to charge them the same. Processing limits let us offer genuinely affordable pricing at entry level while making sure the support, features, and infrastructure we provide are matched to what your organization actually needs. And because our limits are soft (we reach out and upgrade you at renewal rather than cutting off donations), there’s no risk to your fundraising if you have a great year.
