Introducing 4aGoodCause’s support for Stripe payments
We work hard throughout the year to make sure our products are innovative and offer a variety of options to work with you, supporting your online fundraising needs to the fullest. Our goal to support our clients while always looking for ways to improve our product offerings is what drives us forward. That is why we are proud to introduce support for an additional payment processor—Stripe. Now, you have the option to connect your donation and other e-commerce pages built on 4aGoodCause to Stripe to process credit card and debit card payments from your donors.
What is Stripe?
Stripe is a third-party payments processor. Similar to PayPal or Square, it’s a software tool that gives you instant access to processing making it easy for your donors to give online (and easy for you to get your funds right away).
Stripe is a great payment processor option for smaller nonprofits as it offers flat-rate pricing and is available in 36 countries with multiple currency acceptance. As one of the fastest-growing payment gateways—processing over 18 percent of all online payments—integrating Stripe into the 4aGoodCause suite of solutions allows us to work with more nonprofits that are looking for an effective, easy-to-integrate fundraising platform.
A great solution for nonprofits
Nonprofits big and small can benefit from using Stripe and those that don’t process a high volume of online donations will particularly like the simple, flat-rate pricing with no monthly fees. Here are a few of the additional benefits to having Stripe as an integrated option to 4aGoodCause:

- Low-cost pricing (included discounted 501c(3) pricing of just 2.2% + $0.30 per transaction for most cards)

And, if you decide to stop using Stripe for any reason, they make it pretty easy to migrate your donor’s credit card info to another payment processor. Other payment processors don’t always make it that easy.
What about Authorize.net? Are you still supporting that?
Absolutely! Stripe has been added as an additional option and does not replace our integration with Authorize.net. We still love Authorize.net, have 12 years of experience working with the platform and are the only all-in-one fundraising platform that is a certified product for Authorize.net. Other recent updates to 4aGoodCause
In addition to our Stripe integration, our development team has been working hard to keep your data clean and ensure all administrators of your 4aGoodCause account are alerted whenever sensitive payment gateway settings are updated. Now, you can:
- Use our Duplicate Finder to easily look up and merge duplicate contacts in our CRM
- Stay in-the-know about important changes to your account with our payment gateway security alerts
- Track tribute information on donor receipts for those that give in honor or in memory of someone
- Work from anywhere—your admin account is mobile-friendly and available on the go.
You may have also noticed some subtle updates such as simpler navigation and reports, standardized typefaces, action buttons and links. Have you noticed these subtle updates such as displaying all your donations instead of defaulting to the last 30 days?
