You may know us best for our fundraising platform capabilities—landing pages, event registration, peer-to-peer campaigns and online donations. But during the last year, we’ve been working on a product to help our clients take their fundraising to a whole new level.
Introducing the 4aGoodCause CRM.
What is a CRM and why is it important?
A CRM (customer relationship manager or, in the case of nonprofits, a constituent relationship manager) is a tool that makes it easy for organizations to track their contacts. In the case of nonprofits, a CRM (often called a donor database) is a great way to keep track of conversations, emails and meetings you have with donors (and prospects) and even see a visual record of donation history.
What does the 4aGoodCause CRM provide?
At launch, our CRM will provide clients a user-intuitive way to track donors. To make it even easier on everyone, we have also developed help articles to walk users through our CRM features. By using this new tool, you have a robust CRM platform that integrates with your online fundraising campaigns.
Using our CRM you can:
- Import contacts
- Customize fields
- Filter and search to create segmented lists
- Create tags to organize contacts into groups
- View a donor’s giving stats, history and activity
- Create contact relationships
- Research contacts on social media
- Add notes to track donor connections, meetings, likes/dislikes and general donor prospecting
Take a closer look at some of our donor profile features. How great is it to know your donors giving amounts, where they “live” on social media and general activity through the year? You can use this information as a way to prospect, pull lists and create follow-up tasks for yourself and your team throughout the year.

To that end, these additions are just the tip of the iceberg. As we continue to develop more enhancements to our new CRM product, we look forward to providing our clients with the ability to import offline donations into 4aGC. And early next year, we will roll out our integration with MailChimp to streamline your email marketing and donation requests (read why we love MailChimp here).
