Every nonprofit that uses a 4aGoodCause donation page has the ability to configure a custom email receipt for their online donors. This email receipt is sent automatically from our system after each successful online donation and can originate from any email address. In our almost 20 years of building donation pages for nonprofits, we’ve found eight basic content elements needed in an online donation email receipt for it to be successful. To us, successful means that the donor feels personally thanked for the donation and has everything they need to deduct that donation on their taxes.
