This month, we are rolling out new pricing plans that take the guesswork out of your costs with flat-fee pricing and we are excited to tell you about it.
As it has been for the past 22 years, our promise to you continues to make it easy for donors to give you money online and to be an affordable fundraising platform option for small to mid-size nonprofits. While our pricing model has changed, this announcement supports this promise as we now offer an even better way to manage your budget in order to keep more of what you raise in your pocket. And we continue to provide fast, personal service whenever you need it.
We have one of the easiest-to-use and effective platforms with donation averages double the national benchmarks.
Why are we offering new pricing options now?
Many of our clients are using 4aGoodCause as a CRM in addition to taking advantage of our online fundraising tools. As such, it makes sense to price our services based on the all-in-one fundraising platform that it has become, offering everyone the opportunity to manage donor relations through our CRM and collect online donations at the same time.
Recently, there has been a large increase in fundraising platforms and websites taking massive percentages of each donation processed in addition to the normal credit card processing fees. Sometimes these fees can add up to upwards of 8% of each donation. While we have always charged a small, flat transaction fee, it’s time to be different. We are getting rid of all platform transaction fees. So, while nonprofits will still pay credit card fees to their merchant processor, 4aGoodCause will not take an additional transaction fee for itself.
You should be able to keep more of what you raise; we are here to help you do that.
New pricing options
As part of our new pricing and service offerings to clients, now all of the 4aGoodCause plans include:
- Online donations
- Event registration
- Crowdfunding
- Peer-to-peer fundraising
- Simple CRM for donor management
- Unlimited pages, campaigns, users and transactions
You pay the same fee no matter how many transactions come in per month! With most competitors charging either a flat rate per transaction or a percentage of the transaction, it can be hard to budget your fees. Here at 4aGoodCause, we want to make it easy on your budget from start to finish; that is why we have moved to a flat monthly rate based on the number of contacts you have in 4aGoodCause, not by number or value of transactions.
We are making it simple and straightforward so you can get back to raising more money without the worry of added fees.
For as little as $84 per month, you can get started with everything listed above (up to 2,000 contacts).
With our average one-time, online donation being around $207, you can typically pay back your monthly fee with a single donation!

As mentioned, we are making this as easy as possible by moving to the new, monthly rate model. We know that you continue to monitor your budget and adjust as needed; this pricing model is a predictable way to budget and includes incentives for annual payments and free CharityHowTo memberships for our Growing and Mid-size plans.

What about very small nonprofits?
For some of our smaller nonprofits, we understand that our new pricing may result in an increase in costs. We also know this is a time of financial stress on many of the good causes we work for. If it doesn’t make financial sense for you to switch now, you have the option to be grandfathered in your existing pricing model until January 1, 2022. At that time, you will have the option to choose from one of our available plans.
